I saw a cute little painting on Pinterest and I had to have it!! It so inspired me that I got out the paints immediately to try my hand at painting my own and I LOVE IT! It's not quite as cute as the original and I couldn't get exactly the right colours mixed, but even so my little chubby sparrow is sweet.

I must be on a roll, the paint is just flowing these days and I barely have to direct it. Is it just emotion that flows through us or is there another force that directs the paint brush? I'd love to know the answer to that one...

Beautiful painting! It might have not turned out to be exactly like you saw on pinterest but it has its own unique beauty. Still, there are some people who could not do it like you do. Like me! lol!

No, it's not emotion that flows but SKILL. There is no way I'd ever be able to do anything even RESEMBLING a bird, much less something that was hang-worthy. Beautiful!
ReplyDeletebeautiful, its magic when the paint knows just where to go!
ReplyDeleteShe's such a sweetie!!

ReplyDeleteI think you've captured it's cuteness! Great idea to create your own.
ReplyDeleteI love how your painting turned out! The excitement you have for that little bird shows. I think whenever an artist is excited and inspired and passionate about what he or she is painting, they put out their best work. At least that's how it is for me :)
