Beachy Sign

I had so much fun creating with the alphabet letters I found at the Dollar Store that I went back for more!

I made this beach  sign by painting the letters and gluing them to a piece of reclaimed wood.  Such an easy and fun project - just let the paint flow!

I laid out the letters on the board a couple of times until I found the look I liked best, then it was off to paint the letters and the board!

I glued a starfish in the upper corner and I had a bee eraser that I glued on as well.  As a final touch, I outlined the letters with a black sharpie.

I used all the colours that remind me of water and then swirled white paint over the letters when the paint was still wet.

Sea water and lake water is so pretty...   It's hot enough here to head out to the beach this weekend, so I'm off to enjoy the weather.

Have a happy week!
